The main character of the game is Vydija, a wild and lustful Succubus demon. The players were able to learn a part of her story in the original Agony and Agony UNRATED, where she received her own single player campaign.

With the disappearance of the legitimate rulers of Hell, the remaining demons recognized Nimrod as their ruler, because he was the only soul who could dominate the mind of the mighty Beast. By raising his new empire from the corpses of sinners, the new king, along with his new queen Vydija, managed to control the chaos left by the former rulers.

The new title didn’t fit the Succubus. The life of luxury and walking on rugs sewn from the skins of martyrs was not for her though, and so she has chosen a life in the wilderness of Hell.

During her travels, the new queen meets the powerful Baphomet who, together with his army, is going to get the soul of Nimrod. Captured, maimed and betrayed by her own species, Vydija is left with only one goal that matters – revenge!

  • So what you're saying is it's a largely unoriginal hack and slash borrowing gameplay heavily from skyrim just with more doom-like violence and agony's hellscape, and barring a few terribly animated sex scenes misses the point of a succubus entirely in that they venture to the mortal world to seduce mortals, watching them, stalking their dreams, following and learning about them so as to tempt them with whatever desire they have (not necessarily just sex, could be power, revenge etc) and then get them to either bargain with their soul for it, or get them to commit a sin in thought, word and finally deed, in order to loosen the shackles on their soul so she can claim it.

A succubus game should be more subtle and subversive and manipulative, with perhaps the occasional trip to hell like here.
Just imagine a game where you read the mind of a prominent businessman, take that woman's form, seduce him into an affair, make sure you're seen by the wife and engineer a scandal and their fall from grace, as a revenge deed for their business rival, whose soul you then take as part of the bargain, and then when the man is ruined, visit him again as yourself and make a deal for revenge on or regaining power etc vs the business that wronged him and wrecked his life etc, and then go visit the soon to be ex-wife and take a male form, seduce her into an act of lust and vengeful sex and rob her of her soul too. What a widespread, twisted web of lust and death and malady you could weave. There is so so so much potential for a succubus and making this game a sexualised hack and slash is a criminal under utilisation of the potential source material.

  • Naaah, pointless game. Like run forward and slice everything on my way. LMB + W mechanics. I know its not even finished. But what is the point of this game? There should be some variaty, quests story line, characters, localizations. Agony was like a game made by one person in unity. I hope this will improve at least….

with this much enemy confrontation i feel there should be a choice between stealth and action gameplay…also is it me or is the sex scene a save spot

The last boss battle is the hindu godess of destruction named shiva.
Shiva is the cousin to satan's bride lilith.
Therefor her corrilation within hell stands.
It sinks to amaze me the measures of the developers' thoughts.

Спасибо за то что вы делаете. Просто идеальная игра мечты!

  • NOT a walking simulator, fantastic, looks good, added it to wishlist, and love the depiction of hell. Agony was visually stunning depiction of hell. Beautiful.

  • I realize this is an alpha build…but man, this studio just sucks at making games. There’s like no animation in anything and the textures look like early access garbage. Even in their completely finished game, Agony.

  • Protagonist NEEDS more attention. Her movements, animation, weapon design … how to say it… just weak.
Wtf is with her hands? Is she succubus or rotten zombie corpse? Why details so poor? It is 2019 now, not 2005. I know you can spend some more money and time on HANDS.
Weapons: i understand why they should be nasty, but they are just ugly. Feel the difference.
P.S. Idea is good. Gamers need some brutal and bloody games. And we have no expectations about gameplay or story.
All we need is agreeable design, a feeling that you are in hell and pleasant hero animation. Good luck.

  • It looks like the gameplay will become stale quickly. I don't think anything should be censored, but for me this game is too over the top. I'm out.

  • Serious Sam in Hell)
In beginning was interesting. But scenes where we beating the pregnant woman it was superfluous.
Sex is strange. Succubs in mythology wants to take energy from victim. And here we doesn't see it in game, ingame succub like just jumping on man without thirst or lust.
    Just opinion. Thanks.

    Vydija The Succubus:"What"? 😕
The Doom Slayer:"Yeah I Know That Was Not Easy To Say"(Looks At The Camera & Winks 😉)

Came here from the Podcats. Jon really was right when he said this is just like if you gave a 14-year-old boy the opportunity to make whatever he wanted into a game. Change the title to Fuck You Mum And Dad You'll Never Understand Me the we'll talk

  • Angry Pancake says:

There should definitely be some kind of commentary with this video. From what I have just seen the game seems to be unfocused with random things thrown together. I have no idea if that is supposed to be a straight up "shooter" style game like DOOM or some kind of action RPG. Though one thing I kept thinking about when watching this video was, that this game could potentialy become a spritiual successor to Hexen.
